Little People’s Choir
To praise God through song on the 1st Sunday of each month. Children ages 2 to 12 participate in this choir.
Young People’s Choir
To minister to the congregation on the 1st Sunday of each month in hopes that souls are saved as a result of our musical offerings. Youth ages 13 to 25 participate in this choir. This choir was originally known as the Junior Choir and was organized in the 1930’s under the direction of Mrs. Goldie Gray. In 1966, the name was changed to the Young People’s Choir.
Praise and Worship Team
To assist the prayer and praise leaders with spiritual offerings prior to the Sunday Morning Worship Service.
Voices of P.E.A.C.E.
To uplift and sing songs unto the Lord on the 2nd Sunday. Performing Worshiping and Praise, Music, Praise Dance, Mime Evolution through Creative Arts Ministry and Voices of P.E.A.C.E.
I. H. Hines Choir
To uplift the name of the Lord through songs on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Youth and adults ages 18 and above participate in this choir. The choir was organized in 1974 under the leadership of Mrs. Delores Whitaker. The choir was named in memory of the late Reverend Dr. I. H. Hines.
To praise God through songs on the 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month. The chorus is comprised of men of all ages, committed to praise the Lord with songs that bless the people of God whenever we sing.
The Darrel Rollins Memorial Mass Choir
To minister through song on the 4th Sunday of the month. Youth and adults ages 18 and above participate in this choir. The Mass Choir was organized in November 1982 as part of the vision of Reverend Dr. Darrel Rollins. Because of the love we shared with the pastor and the respect for his leadership, support was given to merging the Sanctuary Choir and the Mass Choir. The Choir was renamed the Darrel Rollins Memorial Mass Choir, on August 4, 2007 in his memory.
Parents Interest Group
To assist the directress of the Little People’s Choir with maintaining choir attire, phone calling, monitoring rehearsals, fellowships, and outings.
31st Street Baptist Church Combination
This group is made up of the musicians of the church. They minister to the congregation by playing gospel with a flavor of jazz that is spiritually up-lifting.
