Welcome to Man Talk RVA! Housed at the 31st Street Baptist Church, Man Talk RVA is an initiative designed to support middle and high school minority male students aged 11-18 in the Greater Richmond area.
The Man Talk Saturdays is an enrichment program designed to expose minority young men to professional, scholastic and spiritual opportunities for growth while providing mentorship and fellowship in a safe environment. Each Academy participant will be assigned to a group leader and peer group to work with and will participate in several breakout and enrichment sessions led by working professionals, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and leaders within the church and the community. The academy will focus on a particular theme designed to provide exposure in the areas of business and finances, college preparation, arts and athletics, career opportunities in the STEM fields, and health and nutrition. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in Bible studies and small group discussions around the theme of the day. Registration is FREE!
